BBKA Exams

British Beekeepers Association have a well established examination programme which is continually update to incorporate the latest beekeeping practices. The programme starts with the Basic Assessment (see below) through to becoming a Master Beekeeper. The examination and assessments are a mix of practical and theory and are devised to ensure a highly competent level of beekeeping. To complete all the content can take over 7 years.

All the training and examinations are managed through the district and the LBKA education co-ordinator. There are also correspondence courses available through the winter.
